If you’re reading this, the chances are, you’re struggling with motivation to exercise regularly. Don’t worry, we’ve all been there at some point. That is why I share with you 13 reasons to start training. In the first part of this article, we talked about the 5 major reasons, including reduced stress and improved sexual performance.

Here, I’ll share with you the remaining 8 reasons, so if you weren’t entirely convinced before, I’m sure you won’t postpone that training session any longer after reading this article.

Noone, of course, can force you to get a gym membership, and this article is not here to do this. All I’m doing here is trying to showcase the benefits that come with working out regularly because often people simply don’t know why they should be bothered. Most have a vague idea that training is “good for you” but can’t really give any specifics. So to allow you to make a more informed decision, I put together this list.

Keep reading to find out the remaining 8 reasons that will, without a doubt, make you want to hit the gym straight away!

Exercise Is Important, And Here’s Why

Yes, that is right! Training will help you reduce stress and improve your ability to think rationally and clearly. Who would have thought that exercise can enhance your professional life?! And don’t forget about all the compliments from the colleagues…

#7 It Strengthens Immune System

When you exercise you stimulate and strengthen your immune system. Do you know what this means? You will be less susceptible to germs and diseases. Also, physical and mental stress negatively impacts your immune system, and as I said in the first part of this article, regular exercise helps reduce stress.

#8 It Reduces The Chance Of Getting Seriously Ill

It’s been shown that regular workouts can reduce the risk of breast and colon cancer, strokes and arthritis. If you’re serious about staying healthy (and you should be), training your body should be a part of your daily routine. If you train hard, you’ll live a healthier life!

#9 It Improves Memory

Physical exercise is also associated with improvements in concentration, attention, and memory. This is because it stimulates the frontal cortex of the brain. It’s been scientifically proven that the brain function improves with regular exercise!

#10 It Improves Mood

An extreme euphoric feeling of satisfaction is a frequent occurrence after a long workout. Do you know how your body reacts to this? It releases hormones that improve your mood! It’s simple, really - you’d feel way happier about yourself after a training session than after a chill day of being lazy.

#11 It Gives You Sexier Body

Is there anything sexier in this world than a well-trained body? I don’t think so. All the looks you’ll be drawing to yourself are worth all the sweat and hard work. So, train!

#12 It Gives You A Moment To Reflect

We’re all busy people with many things on our minds. Work, home, money, personal life - often it just gets overwhelming. You need to give yourself some headspace once in while. And the gym is a perfect place to do this! You’re not focused on your problems and can take a step back from the day-to-day chores.

#13 It Is Fun

Some might find this a weird reason. For others, it’ll be the main purpose to train - to have fun. And it is a lot of fun, trust me! It’s up to you to make your workouts fun and exciting. Spice it up with a new exercise, do a group session, meet new people - opportunities for having a great time are endless!
